Design and Tech Talk

Do you even have your own business cards yet?

Posted on: February 27, 2011

Over the years I believe I have used a minimum of 10 different designed business cards. Designing a style in your business card that fits your personality and represents your brand is another forever lasting project just as designing your own personal logo tends to be. So with that in mind I started thinking about what I can do to help take a halt to my business card design project and see what else is going on out there in the business card world.

Here are some of the great articles I found talking about the who what why when and hows of business card design.

If your needing a little help in creating your card, please check out these great tutorials for business card design. Each tutorial gives a little bit of a different view on how to create and shows how to do it with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and maybe even a few others.

Hopefully some of these articles were helpful to you. Having your own business card is important and using templates and stealing designs is NEVER the way to go when you want to get noticed. My best advice for all those creating their own business cards, logos and trying to established their own place in the world is to do a lot of research, sketch a lot of ideas, ask a lot of questions, and be to patient. Good luck!
